Unsure about Haru's statement, since there aren't any fireflies during winter, the two of them suddenly see the firefly. Haru then states that the reason he wants to search for this firefly is because he actually wants to see the firefly together with Shizuku. Shizuku notes that there are still many stories to be told, about both her friends and Haru. The epilogue shows that Yu is still waiting at Haru's house with Nagoya when she encounters Haru and Mitsuyoshi, both of whom are just coming home.. }
