The line up, which consisted of Tom Godin, Jason Bogert, Joe Gerbino, and Chad Pitcher, decided to start the process of writing and recording a demo album entitled "what Lies Beneath" which was never released. Upon working on the artwork, Chad Pitcher(lead vocals) had decided to leave Absolution to pursue graphics and video editing. Chad Pitcher remains friends(brothers) with Absolution to this day. That's when Mark Wojtkiewicz stepped in to take the reins as lead vocals. Absolution started pretty much over with the addition of the new vocalist (Wojtkiewicz).The band had gone through several member changes over the years. But had found the right elements to create the band that was actively touring and recording. Their third album The Other Side of Nothing hit shelves early spring 2011, while on tour with National Act Taproot.. }
