Their musical style is a mixture of sludge metal, doom metal, grindcore and Southern rock. They describe their music as: "Black Sabbath getting raped by Motörhead while Judas Priest jerks off in the corner."After Anal Cunt broke up at the end of 2001 guitarist Josh Martin and drummer John Gillis were going to be the new lineup of Upsidedown Cross. Seth Putnam from Anal Cunt had been playing guitar for the Cross but after A.C. broke up he moved to Texas. However, due to the drug use of one of the Upsidedown Cross members (R.I.P. Cheezly) it was impossible to continue so Martin and Gillis, along with Upsidedown Cross singer Larry Lifeless, decided to scrap the Cross and start a brand new band. Gillis was also playing in both Kevorkian's Angels and You're Fired with bassist Nick Camilleri and brought him in to complete the Adolf Satan lineup.In 2002 they began playing gigs in the Boston area. They first started out playing Kilslug (Lifeless's band from the 80's) covers and slowly added new originals to their set. After just two gigs Gillis left the band to join Today Is The Day. He was replaced by Seth Putnam (ex-Anal Cunt/You're Fired) who also played in Angry Hate with Lifeless. However, Putnam also only lasted two gigs. He had gotten a night job driving a taxi and could no longer commit to gigs. Putnam was replaced by former Anal Cunt drummer Nate Linehan and the Adolf Satan lineup stablilized for a couple of years.In 2003 they recorded a demo tape in their rehearsal space. This got them signed to Bestial Onslaught Productions and in Novemnber 2004 they released their self titled album. They immediately took off on a tour with Defcon 4 that went as far as New Orleans. In 2005 Camilleri left the band. He was replaced by Nate Linehan's brother Sean. They played more gigs around the New York/New England area. in late '05 - early '06 they recorded another demo, entitled Ooga Booga Cab Company. This would be their final recording. In 2006 - 2007 they played a handful of gigs around Boston and even though Martin had announced plans for a second record called "Inject The Venom", to be released on Menace to Sobriety, they called it a day in 2008. By that point Anal Cunt had reformed and Martin was back with them. Kilslug had also reformed and Lifeless was back with them. The Linehan brothers are still playing in bands together today.. }
