These Sanketies planted cocconut,Araconut and beetel leaf everywhere they lived.They are scholars in Veda and music. They are very populer for hospitality and soft hearts.No other bramin subgroup can be compared with this subgroup in hospitality. The housewives of this Agrahara welcome the meter readers,census teachers, and sales people by offering coffee and juice. Now the Brahmins of this agrahara are spread across India. Many of them are settled in Bangalore, Mysore and Hassan. The Bramhin population in the village has been reduced notably in recent decades due the drastic changes in the villages.. }
