She died in 1944, unmarried, aged 74.She was succeeded as 3rd Countess Roberts by her younger sister, Ada Edwina Stewart Roberts (born 28 March 1875 – died 21 February 1955), who married Major Henry Lewin (1872-1946), who, by 1917, attained the rank of Brigadier-General and the Légion d'honneur. The 3rd Countess, like her father before her, would live to see the death of her own son, and only child, Lieutenant Frederick Roberts Alexander Lewin (born 18 January 1915 – died May 1940), who was killed in action during World War II in 1940.. }
