He is a pioneer on the integrated training of voice and singing, having led workshops in Europe and Australasia.As a pianist/musical director he has worked on shows such as What's It All About - The Songs of Burt Bacharach, Georgette, Scrooge for the Singapore Repertory Theatre, Urinetown, and keyboard in the UK Tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in Singapore. Nolan was musical director for Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris with Singtheatre. Nolan worked as the rehearsal pianist for the London Gay Men's Chorus. He has also worked as a spoken voice coach at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. He has coached West End performers for shows including We Will Rock You, Carousel, The Light in the Piazza, Spamalot, The Sound Of Music, Mamma Mia, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and West Side Story. He was a casting associate for David Grindrod and ITV for Andrew Lloyd Webber's tv Search for a Superstar.He is currently Head of Singing and Music at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London.. }
