Dr. Fogel was the founding editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, and general chairman for the 2002 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence.Dr. Fogel is a Fellow of the IEEE, and received the 2004 IEEE Kiyo Tomiyasu Award.
