In 1838, she was one of the trainbearers at the coronation of Queen Victoria and served as a bridesmaid at the wedding of the latter to Prince Albert in 1840.On 9 April 1841, Lady Frances married the politician, Robert Jocelyn, Viscount Jocelyn, the eldest son of Robert Jocelyn, 3rd Earl of Roden. Now a courtesy viscountess, Lady Jocelyn was appointed a Lady of the Bedchamber to the Queen that year.
