She died on 30 July 1489 and was buried at Old Warden.The following year he married Catherine, second daughter of William Herbert, Earl of Pembroke. She bore him four sons, including the future 4th Earl of Kent, and one daughter, who was to become grandmother to the 1st Earl of Bedford.
