Héctor de Pignatelli y Colonna married Caterina Caracciolo y Mendoza (daughter of Carlo Caracciolo, 6th Count of Sant'Angelo, and Ana de Mendoza) and their daughter Girolama Pignatelli y Caracciolo succeeded him as the 4th Duchess of Monteleone, herself passing the ducal title to her male issue (fathered by Fabrizio Pignatelli, 3rd Prince of Noia): Ettore, 5th Duke of Monteleone and 4th Prince of Noia.The current Duke of Monteleone is Spaniard Jose Maria Pignatelli de Aragon y Burgos.. }
