In the fall of 2009, Holcomb appearred alongside Pat Green, Billy Joe Shaver, and Darryl Worley on the TV show Legends and Lyrics.Holcomb's 2011 album Chasing Someday, produced by Andy Hunt at his East Nashville Wide Studios, debuted at number 182 on the Billboard 200 for the week ending February 26, 2011.Drew and his wife Ellie are both involved in Nashville YoungLife and have played at various YoungLife camp locations across the United States during the summer sessions. They are expecting their first child, a daughter on November 7 in 2012.Holcomb's song "Live Forever", released in 2009, was prominently featured in a commercial preview of the NBA's 2011-12 season.
