Unlike the previous albums, which were laden with doom and drone sounds, this album departs considerably from Boris' previous efforts by emphasizing the genres of punk and stoner rock. Despite this departure, the album was well received by fans and it became the "base sound" for their releases on the label Diwphalanx. There was a planned vinyl version of the album to be released by Man's Ruin Records but this never came to fruition. Limited copies were made for this album and has since been a very rare album.Music videos were shot for the tracks "1970" and "Korosu" and were originally able to be seen on FoodUnited's website, however, this has been discontinued. Both videos were later included on the 2003 DVD, Live at Shimokitazawa Shelter. Alternate takes of "Korosu" and "1970" appear on Variations. A single was released by Inoxia Records featuring alternate takes of the songs "1970" and "Wareruraido".
