Matches in DBpedia 2014 for { ?s ?p Jean-Noël Augert (born August 17, 1949) is a French former alpine skier.Augert was born in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and grew at the La Toussuire ski resort, Savoy. he debuted in the Alpine Skiing World Cup with a victory, at the Adelboden giant slalom (January 6, 1969). Nicknamed "Rosko", he was however a specialist of the slalom discipline, in which he won three World Cups in 1969-1972, and in which he won a Gold medal at the 1970 World Championships in Val Gardena. He was also second in the overall classification of the 1970 World Cup. He came fifth in both the men's slalom and giant slalom at the 1972 Winter Olympics.Augert retired from the competitions aged 24, due to quarrels with the French Ski Federation. In 1975 he married the fellow alpine skier Françoise Macchi. He is the uncle of Jean-Pierre Vidal, Olympic champion in slalom at the 2002 Winter Olympics, and fellow alpine skier Vanessa Vidal.. }
