He was Prime Minister of Jaipur State from 1933-39. He was knighted and appointed a KCIE in the News Years Honours list of 1 January 1930. In retirement, in his last years, he lived at Beaulieu, Hampshire. Married in 1907 to Olive, dau of late Colonel C.Herbert CSI, they had one son. Sir H.
