Prior to the loss of Crimea to White Russians, Sulkiewicz moved to Azerbaijan and became Chief of Staff of Azerbaijani Armed Forces of ADR on March 26, 1919.He was executed by the Bolsheviks, after the Bolshevik invasion of Azerbaijan in 1920.. }
