His best finish on the European Tour Order of Merit was second in 1973 when it was points-based (he finished eighth on the money list).At the 1974 Masters Tournament, Bembridge tied the course record by shooting a 64 in the final round.After turning fifty he played on the European Seniors Tour, winning twice at that level.Bembridge played for Great Britain or Great Britain & Ireland in the Ryder Cup four times, winning five matches, losing eight and halving three.
