It was built about 1890, and is a 2 1/2-story, frame, weatherboarded, Second Empire style residence. It has a mansard roof on the front portion and two interior chimneys with corbeled caps. The façade of the house features a one-story, hip-roofed porch with turned posts, spindle frieze, brackets with pendants, turned balustrade, and a gabled entrance portico with sawtooth shingles. Another prominent feature of the façade is a central projecting bay flanked by identical windows. It was the home of S.A.
