The Spring Brook tributary begins in Yostville, Pennsylvania, to confluence with the Lackawanna River in Moosic, Pennsylvania. The Spring Brook watershed has eighteen tributaries of its own. Whitewater rafting is some of the fun to be had on this seven mile strip of water. It is a medium difficult level for paddling for those who are not ready for the roaring rapids but not quite a beginner. The view of the falls at the Nesbitt Reservoir is breathtaking to behold from the walk bridge that allows to walk from one side of the reservoir to the other. It is no longer accessible to the public since the reservoir was purchased from PAWC.
