Ringgold School District operates five schools: Ringgold High School in Carroll Township, Ringgold Middle School in Union Township, Monongahela Elementary Center in Monongahela, Donora Elementary Center in Donora, and Gastonville Elementary Center in Union Township.The district has also operated Carroll Middle School in Carroll Township until 2009, when they merged the school with Finley Middle School to form Ringgold Middle School. Ringgold also plans to close Donora and Monongahela Elementary Centers by this Summer 2011. The students from these schools are housed at an expanded Gastonville Elementary Center that was renamed Ringgold Elementary Center North and the renovated, former Carroll Middle School was renamed Ringgold Elementary Center South. The district is planning a vote to close the current middle school and reopen Donora and Monongahela Elementary Centers as new middle schools. The current middle school is build on pyrite which is causing movement and cracks in structural grade beams.. }
