These are supplemented by the large number of players from the many non-rugby schools in the immediate surrounding area who traditionally make up the clubs youths sides.In season 2009/2010 they played in Division One of the Leinster League, at the conclusion of the league Seapoint emerged as Leinster champions for the All Ireland League Play-offs against the champions of Connacht, Munster & Ulster.In the play-offs Seapoint faced City of Derry RFC (Ulster), Richmond RFC (Munster) and finally Monivea RFC (Connacht).Seapoint won all of the games in the AIL Play offs and so for season 2010-11 the club were promoted to Senior club status and as a result meant that they would play in Division 3 of the All-Ireland League.An amazingly sucssesful first season in the senior ranks in the which the club topped their League for much of the season culminated in Seapoint finishing in Second place in Division Three and the club as result achieved further promotion to All-Ireland League Division 2a for season 2011-12.. }
