Matches in DBpedia 2014 for { ?s ?p The 2011 elections to the Aragonese Corts were the eighth elections to the Aragonese Corts, the regional parliament for the Spanish autonomous community of Aragon. The elections were held on 22 May 2011 to elect the 67 members of the Corts in three electoral districts corresponding to the provinces of Huesca, Teruel and Zaragoza.Voting was on the basis of universal suffrage in a secret ballot. The electoral system used was closed list proportional representation with seats allocated using the D'Hondt method. Only lists which polled at least 3% of the total votes in a particular province (including votes "en blanco" i.e. for "none of the above") were eligible for seats in that province.The outgoing Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) administration lost seats and votes and consequently they were overtaken by the People's Party (PP), who gained enough seats to become the largest party in a hung parliament. This was the first time since the 1999 election that the PP had received the most votes in Aragon. United Left of Aragon had their best result since 1995, gaining 3 seats.
