Sunami then forced Shannon Ballard to submit just before the five minute mark, again prompting the Ballards to show the referee where the submissions rule was located. Later in the match, with the Ballards counted out of the ring after ten seconds, the Ballards—with assistance of their valet Gold Digger—once again brought the referee the "rule book", showing that a countout could only happen after a twenty count.
