In 2012, the CIBC Run for the Cure event raised a total of $30,951,651 CAD.Other annual fundraising events include the Richie Mann Invitational, a golf tournament held in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. In 11 years, the event has contributed more than $500000 to the Atlantic Region of the Foundation.In 2004, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Prairies/NWT Region recognized that young people could make a significant contribution and have developed a Youth Advisory Council as a volunteer committee to provide a youth perspective on issues pertaining to fundraising, awareness, education and research.. }
