- George_Hyde_(aviator) abstract "Captain George Arthur Hyde (born 1893, date of death unknown) was a World War I flying ace credited with five aerial victories.Hyde originally served in the King's Royal Rifle Corps. He transferred to the Royal Flying Corps, underwent pilot's training, and was posted to 54 Squadron in February 1917 to fly a Sopwith Pup. He scored his first win the next month, on 17 March. He became flight commander of A Flight in October.
