Gros decided to go to the NFL, where he played three seasons with the Green Bay Packers (1962–1964), two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (1964–1965), and three seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers (1967–1969). In 1970, Gros played one game with the New Orleans Saints.Gros finished his career with 821 rushes for 3,157 yards (an average of 3.8 yards per rush) and 28 touchdowns. He also had 142 receptions for 1,255 yards (an average of 8.8 yards per reception) and ten touchdowns.He died at the age of 72 on July 15, 2013.. }
