The lithographs include ports., birds, animals, landscapes, village life, etc.; the majority of the ill. are signed on the stone by Charles D'Oyly. The bird illustrations are drawn by C.W. Smith with landscapes added by D'Oyly, and are jointly signed. Other artists represented are Chinnery, E.J. D'Oyly, and to a lesser extent, Elizabeth Patterson, G.F. White, H.C. Marsh, Col. J. Lemarchand, 1828, has "Behar Amatr. Litho. Press." The prints on thin paper are mounted on 98 leaves of paper watermarked "J. Green & Son, 1834" in a scrapbook with C.W. Smith's lithographed armorial bookplate, signed in the stone by D'Oyly; most of the prints have wash and line borders. Unlike the Behar Amateur Lithographic Press scrapbooks, described by Abbey, and which may have possibly been issued in multiple copies for D'Oyly's friends, this scrapbook does not have a title page.
