Matches in Harvard for { ?s ?p Release by Sir Edward Seymour, knight, baron Beauchampe, and earl of Hertford, of several recoveries and a fine had by Gilbert Prynne and Thomas Lanford against the said earl in Trinity term, 44 Elizabeth I, concerning the manors of Castell Cary, Aluresforth, Ilmister, Shepton Beauchampe, Camell, and Downehed, Puryton and Downe End, Ile Abbatis, Pulton, Weere, Norton Beauchampe, and Godney; the parks of Castell Cary and Pylton, and all that capital messuage called Westbarne Grange or Westbarne Farme lying in the parish of Frary, and also Hicke Parke and Sheppeardesdrove in the said parish in Somerset; the manors of Shalborne, Westcomte, and all those tenements, etc., sometime purchased of Geoffrey Dormen, esq., and Alexander Tuff, esq., with the advowson of the church of Shalborne Westcomte, late purchased of Thomas Castell; the manors of Stapleford, Wexcombe, Collingborne Burmupton alias Collingburne Valence, and Collingborne Kingston, purchased of John Dorrington, and also those lands called Brimstade Parke in the parish of Burbage (Wilts.); the manor of Shalborne Eastcombe (Berks.); the manor of Elvetham (Hants.); the capital messuage farm of Chesbury (Wilts.), and all those water mills called Castell Mills, and the tucking mill in Trowbridge purchased in fee simple of Edward Reade, esq., lying in Wiltshire; all those 5 premises late of the Abbey of the Blessed Lady of Letley (Hants.), the capital mansion house and farm of Letley, which he purchased of the Right Honorable William, then and now lord marquis of Winchester, and Thomas, then and now lord Burghleigh, and Sir Thomas Dennys, knight, and those lands called "the manor farme" or Curtilluge of Littleton (Midd.), sometime the inheritance of John Bertram, with land purchased from Richard Hawk and Roger Singer in Littleton, Shepton, Sombery, Laleham, and Ayshforde in Middlesex, and all that capital mansion house called Hertford House in Chanon Rowe in the city of Westminster; All of which said recoveries were made according to indenture tripartite dated 20 May 44 Elizabeth I between (1) the said earl, (2) the said Prynne and Langford, and (3) John Rodney, Alexander Tuff, James Kyrton, esquires, and Edmund Pyke, gentleman. The said earl does hereby quitclaim and release to the said Gilbert Prynne and his heirs, being the sole survivor of the recoveries, all his or his heirs' right in those properties, and releases him from all manner of errors, defeats, etc., which have been or may have been committed in the leving of the fine or suffering of the recoveries.. }
