Respondents were interviewed about their attitudes toward government expenditures, taxes, state government in general, and about several tax limitation amendments on the Michigan ballot in the general election held November 1978. These ballot propositions were the Headlee amendment, the Tisch amendment, and the school voucher plan. Respondents were asked how they voted on the propositions and their opinion of the probable effects of these propositions if adopted. Demographic information was also collected, including the respondent's present employment status and occupation.. }
