- Mountain_Men_(TV_series) shortsummary "In Alaska, Marty soon learns that his young daughter Noah has a ballet recital in a few days and he decides to head back home to see his daughter's performance. He checks his traps for the last time, but most of his traps were empty and he only catches a skunk and a marten in two of the traps. He also learns that a storm was moving in and leaves in his bush plane in an attempt to beat the storm home. After more than three hours of desperate flying, Marty returns home and is happily reunited with his wife and daughter. In Montana, Tom Oar continues receiving calls from his daughter Kili urging him and Nancy to retire and live with their family in Florida. Before he can decide on what to do next, Tom receives a letter from his brother Jack in Idaho that urges him to visit him on his ranch for a few days. Accompanied by his friend Will, Tom visits his brother on his horse ranch and helps him drive off a mountain lion that has been threatening Jack's yearling colts. To return the favor, Jack takes his brother and Will out on a hunt using his trained falcon and hunting dog. In the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, Eustace comes down with a cold while repairing one of his livestock barns. While his neighbor and oldest friend Preston Roberts takes care of the daily chores on the farm, Eustace heads out into the woods and makes a special tea using a special plant called yellow root. After drinkining some tea and sweating himself in his makeshift sweat lodge, Eustace makes a swift recovery and helps Preston deliver a load of firewood to help him get some extra cash to pay off the lien on his property.".
- Mountain_Men_(TV_series) shortsummary "In Montana, Tom Oar is struggling to provide meat and furs to help him and his wife Nancy through the entire winter. As a reward for helping him remove two beavers from his pond, Tom's neighbor Tim takes him and his dog Ellie out on a duck hunt down the Kootenay River. Tom and Tim are able to shoot two mallard ducks, but the duck that Tom shot will only provide a few pounds of meat for his winter food supply. In North Carolina, Eustace is struggling to cope with his own problems. In addition to facing a lien on his 1,000-acre property, he continues to clash with one of his workers, Justin McQuire. After entrusting Justin to take the responsibility to sight in his hunting rifles, Eustace heads out on a deer hunt to provide meat for the winter, but his gun misfires when he tries to shoot a large buck. After losing the deer to a pack of coyotes, Eustace soon learns that Justin never did his job correctly. After weeks of clashing with everyone at Turtle Island, Eustace had no choice but to fire his inexperienced worker, forcing an infuriated Justin to leave for good. In Alaska, Marty's problems with his snow machine grow from bad to worse. After replacing his dead engine with a new one, his steering column snapped while he was checking on the trapline. With more than a day of trapping wasted and another problem with the snow machine to deal with, Marty has no choice but to return to the cabin to repair the broken steering column.".
- Mountain_Men_(TV_series) shortsummary "In the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, Eustace is facing several problems of his own. One of his workers, Justin McGuire continues to let him down in several of the tasks that he is given to do. In addition to leaving all of Eustace's chainsaws out in the middle of a rainstorm, he also walks away and quits working while helping Eustace and his other workers repair a leaking roof on one of Eustace's firewood barns. To make matters worse, Eustace receives a letter from the government indicating that after failing to pay his taxes, his land will taken away in a matter of weeks. In Montana, Tom Oar is struggling to find meat for himself and his wife Nancy after failing to get a deer for his winter meat supply. His quest for getting meat is put on hold when one of his neighbors Tim asks him for help in removing a couple of beavers from his pond, which supplies his family with drinking water. After setting up a couple of beaver traps, Tom is able to catch two beavers out of his neighbor's pond, providing him with several pounds of meat for the winter. In the Alaskan wilderness, Marty has arrived at his cabin and is preparing himself for his trapping season. After collecting a good supply of drinking water in his cabin to last him through the winter, he heads out to check on his traps, but finds most of them empty. Things go from bad to worse for Marty when his snow machine breaks down as he journeys back to the cabin for the night, forcing him to continue the rest of the journey back on foot.".
