It has a total 21 halts covering important stations: New Tinsukia Junction, Mariani Junction, Lumding, Guwahati, New Bongaigaon, New Cooch Behar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishengunj, Malda Town,Azimganj, Nawadip Dham, Bandel en-route Kolkata and vice versa. Composition of the train consists of AC Two Tier(2A) one coach, AC Three Tier(3A) two coach, Three Tier Sleeper(SL) seven coach, Six General Class Compartments. Its hauled by WDM 3A/WDM 3D class of locomotive from Diesel Loco shed of Howrah or WDP 4/WDP 4B class of locomotive from the Diesel Loco shed of Siliguri or Tuglakabad. The train belongs to N F Railway zone of Indian Railways.The train is newly introduced and yet to get popularity, but considering the fact that this is a superfast train from Dibrugarh to Kolkata other than the regular Kamrup Express, which takes 36 hours 10 mins to cover the distance between Dibrugarh and Howrah, this train will definitely get popular and maybe down the line frequency would be increased from weekly to tri-weekly or four days a week.. }
