- Agos abstract "Agos (Armenian: Ակօս, "Furrow") is an Armenian bilingual weekly newspaper published in Istanbul, Turkey. It was established on 5 April 1996. Today, Agos has a circulation of over 9,000. It has both Armenian and Turkish pages as well as an on-line English edition. Hrant Dink was its chief editor from the newspaper's start until his assassination outside of the newspaper's offices in Istanbul in January 2007. Hrant Dink's son Arat Dink, who served as the executive editor of the weekly, has been named as a co-defendant in the cases brought against Hrant Dink for denigrating Turkishness due to his managerial position at the weekly.After Hrant Dink's assassination, the editor-in-chief of the weekly became Etyen Mahçupyan; in 2010 he was succeeded in that position by Rober Koptaş. Arat Dink continued to serve as the executive editor. The current executive editor is Aris Nalcı.".
