She released her first album, Dream, in 2006, and her second, l'Inexplicable, in 2007, although the latter was released in European and Japanese markets in 2008. Dream is a collection of jazz standards and bossa nova favorites, while l'Inexplicable is a collection of originals written by the singer and performed in a jazz/ethnic pop fusion. Winters & Mays was on the CMJ Top Jazz Chart for 9 weeks, peaking at #9 overall and on the JazzWeek Mainstream Chart for 17 weeks. It was also on the Canadian Jazz Chart peaking at #9."Qu'est-ce qu'on est bien ici," Allen's original song from her second album was used in Episode 7 of the second season of the ABC series Revenge.".
