Google plans to keep the BufferBox brand for the foreseeable future. For Google, the addition of BufferBox will augment the company’s growing mobile commerce operations in Waterloo, where most of the company’s mobile shopping products are built.Most recently, BufferBox expanded to San Francisco, California with 16 kiosk locations.On February 21, 2014 Google announced that it was closing down BufferBox.
