A lighthouse is erected on the cape.There are many cemeteries and columbarium named after Cape Collinson near Chai Wan under the west slope Pottinger Peak, but they are indeed far from the Cape Collinson. Only association with the cape is that they are in adjacent to Cape Collinson Road.".
