- Carlisle_Pier abstract "Carlisle Pier, Dún Laoghaire was used by the mailboat which sailed between Dún Laoghaire and Holyhead. It established the Daonchartlann (Irish language word for "a premises where archives are stored") there Currently, the only vessel moored at the pier is a lightship.".
