Watson, commentary and endorsments from Gil Scott-Heron & Jalal Mansur Nuriddin from The Last Poets, Dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah reading from Mark T. Watson's book "Ordinary Guy" and Jazz drummer Rod Youngs Amnesia Express from Washington DC, commenting on the audio rendition of Mark's work entitled "Rhythms of the Diaspora Vol 1 & 2" on which Rod plays drums, accompanied by Larry McDonald (formerly of the Skatalites, Bob Marley, Inner Circle, & Gil Scott-Heron) also percussionist Marivaldo do Santos (who played with Wyclef Jean and Shakira) with guest vocals from Jalal Mansur Nuriddin of The Last Poets and New York Dub Poet Ras Tesfa.In 2008 Fore-Word Press signed US author "Tonya Leslie" in a 4 book deal for a series of children's titles aimed at minority ethinc boys aged 10–14 years; to encourage reading through the use of positive role models.In 2013 Fore-Word Press were commissioned by Film Company Riverhorse to produce a live event at The London Jazz Cafe, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first ever RAP album "Hustlers Convention" by Lightnin' Rod a.k.a Jalal Mansur Nuriddin of The Last Poets. The event included the first ever non US performance of the entire album by the artist himself, with musical accompaniment from the London based Jazz Warriors International Collective. The support band was Jalal's protege (also a student of the late Gil Scott-Heron Malik Al Nasir) with his band Malik & the O.G's featuring Jazz vocalist Cleveland Watkiss and Blue Note artist, vibraphonist Orphy Robinson, as well as Gil Scott-Heron's drummer from his band the Amnesia Express Rod Youngs and Jazz guitarist Tony Remy. The event is sponsored by Charly Records who launched a re-issue of the original 1973 vinyl version of the album to coincide with the live show. The filming of the event was part of a documentary being made by Riverhorse on behalf of Executive Producer Chuck D from US Rap outfit Public Enemy. Malik Al Nasir was Associate Producer and Mike Todd of Riverhorse who was the Producer and Director. The documentary features Alan Douglas, Jalal Mansur Nuriddin, Fab Five Freddy, Public Enemy's Chuck D, Melle Mel, Malik Al Nasir, Malik & the O.G's who perform at the live show and The Jazz Warriors International Collective. The event MC was UK poet Lemn Sissay and the DJ was Perry Louis.".
