- Franz_Dvorak abstract "Franz Dvorak (1862-1927) was an Austrian painter. His full name was Frantisek Brunner Dvorak, though he was variously referred to as Frant/ Franz etc. He was born in Prelouc, at the time in Bohemia. Dvorak studied at the Art Academy of Vienna. Moving to the United States in 1889, Dvorak spoke no English and trusted solely in his art for support.
