- Gatibu abstract "Gatibu is a rock group in Basque language from Gernika-Lumo, in the province of Biscay. The term Gatibu that names the group is a Basque word meaning "captive". The group emerged around Alex Sardui (former singer Exkixu) in the summer of 2002. The guitars are Haimar Arejita, on drums Gaizka Salazar and bass Mikel Caballero.The language that sung is Biscayan dialect of Basque (bizkaiera), not as the unified batua that do most of Basque groups. The album featured the collaboration of Fito Cabrales (of Platero y Tú and Fito & Fitipaldis) and Roberto Iniesta (singer of Extremoduro), who sang songs in Basque.In 2005 was released his second studio album, Disko Infernu ("Infernal Disco"), with songs like Inpernuaren ate joka (knocking on the door of hell) or Gogoratzen zaitut (I remember you).Currently, the group is still engaged in a tour of more than a hundred concerts that has led to almost every corner of the geography of the Basque Country.".
