- HTC_8 abstract "HTC 8 is a series of Windows Phone 8 smartphones manufactured by HTC. All of the 8 series products were designed in touchscreen-based, slate-sized. It's not yet paralleled in terms of its (small) weight and size relative to its competitors in the pioneer Windows Phone 8 release, being the two smallest and lightest Windows Phones available in the first Windows Phone 8 generation thus far (the 8X approximately tying in size with the Nokia Lumia 820). The 8 series utilizes multiple bright and "bold" colour themes for its exterior chassis. It is also the pioneer series in Windows Phones to integrate with Beats Audio software. The 8 series continues the HTC Windows Phone tradition of using Super LCD screens. Both phones currently in the series use MicroSIM slots. The lineup currently consists of the following: HTC Windows Phone 8S HTC Windows Phone 8X HTC Windows Phone 8XTIn comparison with its indirect predecessors, the HTC Radar and HTC Titan II respectively, they now use a dual core instead of single core processor. The 8X also has 1 GB of RAM. Notably, the 8X camera resolution has been reduced from 16 megapixels on the Titan II to its 8-megapixel back camera, but it is now powered with a HTC ImageChip and supports 1080p video recording, up from the previous 720p. The front camera has also been increased to 2.1 megapixels with an 88° viewing angle and 1080p video recording as well.".
