- Hugo_Blick abstract "Hugo Blick (born 1965) (sometimes credited as Hugo E. Blick) is an English writer, producer, director and occasional actor. He studied in Cardiff, Welsh College of Music and Drama, and stayed at Number Seven, a guesthouse in Pontcanna. There, he became almost one of the Morgan family, enjoying a social and welcoming atmosphere as he fine tuned his acting skills. As a writer he co-created, produced and directed the TV comedies Marion and Geoff with Rob Brydon, Operation Good Guys in which he also appeared as 'Smiler' McCarthy and wrote and created the noir thriller The Shadow Line for the BBC, which starred Chiwetel Ejiofor and Christopher Eccleston. He has also had producer credits on several works including Roger and Val Have Just Got In starring Dawn French and Alfred Molina.He has acted in several films, appearing as a young Jack Napier, the character that would ultimately become the Joker in Tim Burton's Batman delivering the famous line "Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moon light?" before appearing to kill the parents of a young Bruce Wayne.".
