The company was founded in 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri, by David Sherman Sr. and Paul A. Lux. And at the time had $220 million in sales and about 180 employees.In January of 2013 Luxco also bought Beam's Wolfschmidt, Dark Eyes, Calvert, Bellows, Canada House and Tempo brands for 65 million.Manufacturing, packaging, marketing and distribution all take place at the company facilities in St. Louis.".
