He played the fictional character Polat Alemdar in the series and in the movie. He currently plays in another follow up of the original series "Kurtlar Vadisi", called "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu".He is married to Nagehan Kaşıkçı who is the niece of a former Kurtlar Vadisi scenario writer. Nagehan Şaşmaz is pregnant and the couple are wating for a baby to be born in September 2013.".
