Top musicians from all over the United States come to New Hampshire, attracted by the recreational opportunities of the Lakes Region and the White Mountains as well as the chance to play with a group of colleagues they have come to know and love over many years. Several musicians have been a part of the Festival for over 40 years.Donato Cabrera returns for his second summer as conductor and music director. Mr. Cabrera is the Resident Conductor of the San Francisco Symphony and the Music Director of the Green Bay Symphony.Full orchestral classical music concerts are held on Thursdays in the Hanaway Theater at the Silver Center. This year four classical concerts will be held on Saturdays. Chamber music concerts with members of the Festival orchestra are held in the intimate Smith Recital Hall on Tuesdays. This year a Family Matinee concert will be held on July 26 and at 10:00 am, and two outreach concerts to be held in Wolfeboro and Concord.".
