- Raúl_Sandoval abstract "Edwin Raul Sandoval de la Torre, (born in Mexicali, Baja California) is a Mexican actor and singer. Known by his stage name Raúl, he is best known by being in the first generation of La Academia, (Mexican version of American Idol), produced by TV Azteca.Raul Sandoval was born on January 5, 1979, in Mexicali, BC at 23:45 hrs. His father is Mr. Raul Alfonso Sandoval Dorame and his mother Ana Berta Araceli Tapia de la Torre. He also has a brother named Erick Sandoval Ramses de la Torre. For six years, Raúl began his studies at the primary school "Year of the Motherland" in the colony Pro Home and continued his education at the Federal Secondary 5, where he was part of a musical group called Banda Lobo as a vocalist. Figueroa, Mario Quintero among others, recorded in various studios and with producers such as Pepe Aguilar, Fernando de Santiago, both in Los Angeles and Tijuana.He has recorded four solo albums, and a compilation of his history in the Academy making it 5 albums in total. "Serenade"[Serenata], "Sorry, because"[Perdon,Porque] in which with great partners such as Mr. Pepe Aguilar, Sr . Jose Manuel Figueroa, Fernando Santiago, Mario Quintero, Jorge Avendano and others. Thus achieving an excellent production. His fourth production "The Challenge of a Star"[El Desafio De Una Estrella] is a collection of songs that played during The Academia and the Challenge of Stars I and II. Where he won Third Place, after 25 concerts every Sunday and after showing his great talent and wonderful voice being one of the favorites of the people and public. He is currently promoting his fifth album "My Other Way" and fulfilling his personal shows and presentations throughout the Mexican Republic.This young 30 year old grew into a family where he was taught to work, to be honest and disciplined.Respect and tolerance are two important values for him.
