- Ultrachronic abstract "Ultrachronic is an American rock and roll band. Their genre of music is modern rock, and has hard rock, alternative rock, funk metal, and rapcore elements. The band is based in Denver, Colorado.Ultrachronic was formed in 2004 by D. Scott Morris and DB Mack in the makeshift recording studio in D. Scott's house. The initial recording under the name Ultrachronic was a remix of the first song they had written in 1998 for their previous band with drummer Brendan Speas. While the original band could never agree on a name or a lineup, it solidified a musical relationship between Morris and Speas which would come to fruition six years later. With electronic drums as a backing, D. Scott recorded himself on the bass, rhythm, and lead guitars while DB Mack performed vocals. This song reflected the nature of their first song in its title "Genesis". While initially the song was a rough representation of what the founding band members wanted to accomplish, it did allow for Morris and DB to start propositioning other musicians in order to get a band put together. After many trials and tribulations a potential line up was formed, but after only a few sessions it was apparent the personalities were not going to mesh. DB was voted out of the band and various other members were forced out for not meeting their commitments. D.Scott took the shreds of what was left of the original Ultrachronic and met with Kyle Ingram. The lineup was finalized in March 2005 with the addition of Dave Crotser, but they were having difficulty finding a drummer. DB suggested to D.Scott that he contact their original drummer Brendon Speas who later agreed to join the band. The band released a four song demo in 2005 and started work on an EP which was scheduled to be released in mid to late 2007.Speas left the band in 2007, and Ultrachronic was on the verge of breaking up. Luckily they were able to join forces with other members of another recently defunct Denver band and formed the band The Flash Mob.".
