In November 1599 in an improved financial situation, he bought the manor of Pixham, Worcestershire but in 1602 had to sell other property in the manor of Acton Beauchamp. He was knighted in 1603. In 1604 he was elected MP for Worcestershire again and sat until his death.Lygon died at the age of about 60.Lygon married Elizabeth Harwell, daughter of Edward Harwell of Besford in around 1590 and had three sons and two daughters.
