- James_Arndell_Youl abstract "Sir James Arndell Youl (28 December 1811 – 5 June 1904) was an Australian business agent, grazier and pisiculturist.Youl was born in Parramatta, New South Wales but from 1854 lived primarily in Clapham, Surrey, England, where he died; he was buried at West Norwood Cemetery. In England he promoted Tasmania and its products. He is probably most notable for the introduction of brown trout and salmon to Australia. After several failed attempts he was able to successfully transport the ova using moss in ice.
