It is based on Schön's balance equations and makes use of the entire form of the isolated glow peaks. In this way the activation energy and the capture cross section of the trapping centers can be calculated independently of the kinetics of the luminescence process. The capture cross section of the luminescence centers can also be determined. The application of this method is illustrated on the thermoluminescence glow curve of ZnO powder.".
