- aggregation abstract "Questo lavoro presenta i risultati di una prima indagine sull’intonazione della varietà genovese. Lo studio si inserisce nel quadro delle ricerche sull’intonazione regionale dell’italiano ed esamina una varietà settentrionale la cui fonologia intonativa è relativamente poco nota. L’indagine è basata su un campione di parlato dialogico non pianificato e su un campione di parlato letto. Il campione dialogico, prodotto da 6 parlanti (3 di sesso maschile e 3 di sesso femminile), consta di 90 enunciati con intonazione dichiarativa, sospensiva e interrogativa totale (tipo query; Carletta et al. 1996) tratti da tre map task e da tre test delle differenze (Anderson et al. 1991; Péan et al. 1993) del corpus CLIPS (www.clips.unina.it; Albano Leoni 2003; Savy e Cutugno 2009). Il campione di parlato non dialogico consiste di 12 liste di parole lette dagli stessi parlanti registrati per i dialoghi orientati. La descrizione dell’intonazione presentata nell’articolo concerne le caratteristiche dell’accento principale e del contorno terminale degli enunciati; a ciò si aggiungono alcune osservazioni riguardanti prominenze accessorie, come quelle riscontrabili sui sintagmi con valore di topic (Büring 1997; D’Imperio & Cangemi 2009; Brunetti et al. 2010). I risultati ottenuti dall’analisi del materiale sono stati posti a confronto con quelli ricavati da studi precedenti sul genovese (in particolare Savino 2009 e Canepari 1999) e con altri riguardanti varietà diverse, allo scopo di evidenziare eventuali affinità o differenze strutturali con altri italiani regionali la cui prosodia è stata già esaminata in maggior dettaglio. Per il confronto con le altre varietà regionali di italiano si è fatto riferimento in particolare alle analisi svolte sull’italiano per l’Atlante intonativo delle lingue romanze (IARI: Interactive Atlas of Romance Intonation; http://prosodia.upf.edu/iari/; per l’italiano: Gili Fivela et al. 2011). Negli enunciati esaminati sono stati riscontrati i seguenti pitch accents: H+L*, che appare nelle dichiarative neutre, nei profili sospensivi e in quelli interrogativi, H*, (L+)H* e L+H*, che appaiono negli enunciati sospensivi e interrogativi. Per quanto riguarda i toni di confine, sono presenti nella varietà esaminata toni di confine alti e bassi (L-, H-; L%, H%). Nelle interrogative e nelle sospensive è presente una risalita finale, che inizia sulla sillaba postonica nelle interrogative (L-H%) e già alla fine della sillaba tonica nelle interrogative (H-H%). Confini bassi sono presenti nelle dichiarative e, in alcuni casi, nelle interrogative (L-L%).
