Eleonor's parents divorced when she was 7 and she spent a great deal of time between San Diego, where her mother lived after the divorce, and the family farm in Washington. In 1996, Eleonor moved to San Francisco.She started her vocal training at 10 and taught herself to read music and play piano then as well. Upon the 2009 death of Shep Meyers during work with him on a second album, Eleonor started producing original work for live concerts, recording, and private appearances. She has been a teacher for many people in her school, including Prudence Liew, Hawawa of Taiwan and Tracey Johnson. In late 2009, Eleonor lost her piano player and musical director in San Diego, Shep Meyers, to lung cancer and stroke during production of a second cd. After that, Eleonor started producing some original material for live concerts and private appearances.. }
